About Evelyn

For more than 20 years, I’ve been exploring different mediums in my work. I have been a visual arts educator for the last 13 years and one of my primary goals has been to create an atmosphere of understanding and support of the arts for my students. I believe that the arts are an important aspect of our everyday lives. I help my students understand its importance and place in the world through their projects and assignments. I am constantly growing in my field of visual arts through continuing education, attending conferences, participation in the National Art Honor Society. I am actively involved in improving my skills and techniques as an artist and art educator by participating in competitions and exhibitions while creating my own artwork with the goal to further educate my students in various media, skills and techniques.
